Academic Calendar

At Opus Christian Academy, we know every family’s schedule is different. That’s why we offer rolling admissions and open enrollment year-round. Families don’t have to wait for a traditional semester or school year start date—students can begin their coursework at any time.

• Flexible Start Dates – Students may enroll and begin classes at any point during the year.
• Self-Paced Progress – Coursework is scheduled to allow students to move forward at a steady pace while meeting mastery requirements.
• Year-Round Learning – Because we are not bound by a traditional school calendar, students can learn continuously and avoid long breaks that may cause loss of progress.
• Family-Friendly Scheduling – Many families choose to follow a traditional school rhythm (August–May) while others spread learning across the calendar year, including summer. Both approaches work with our model.
• Time Off When You Need It – Families can plan vacations, mission trips, or breaks that fit their lifestyle. Simply coordinate with our academic advisors to stay on track.
• Course Completion Policy: Students have up to 11 months from their enrollment date to complete courses, though most finish within 9 months following a traditional school-year pace.

• Open Enrollment: Year-round (apply at any time)
• Rolling Admissions: Students may start as soon as enrollment is processed and placement testing is complete
• Holidays/Closures: While our online curriculum is always available, teacher assistance and support staff observe the following U.S. holidays:

  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday)
  • Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
